If you have a minute, I direct you to the Games for Change "Favorite Games of 2010" page.

On that page, among all the games, is one I kinda worked on: Evoke. I was the technical advisor for the early stages of the project's development (I had created the voting mechanism used on that site on another project), and several close friends of mine worked on the project as well.

The project was the brainchild of a friend in the industry, Jane McGonigal. She's known for her TED 2010 talk "Gaming can make a better world" where she suggests people should play more video games to solve the world's problems (and she makes a great case for it). She's also worked on several well known alternate reality games in the past, ranging from "I Love Bees" (ARG for Halo) to "The Lost Ring" (ARG for the last olympic games).

It's cookie-based voting, so short of clearing your cookies repeatedly I don't know how often you can vote. You can pick up to FIVE games on that page, so I welcome you to pick Evoke and others. If you're curious about these games, I welcome you to see what the others are about; some of them are really nicely done.

So, at your discretion, Go vote for EVOKE!
