Saw it for the first time in a decade or two and the question just had to be answered.

That and, who would win in a race-_Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang or "The Leslie Special" or, for that matter, the car belonging to Professor Fate (both from the classic movie "The Great Race.")

Like pretty much anything with a boiler or some gears in it is steampunk nowadays, so, sure!

I wouldn't say it's steampunk. Though if lots of people had a houses and cars like Caractacus Potts I'd say it is.

I had no idea the script was by Roald Dahl and that it was based on a book by Ian Fleming. Talk about strange pairings.
