I need to replace one specific part on half a dozen doors, but I don't want to buy a whole new door knob set for each because I only need the one little part. However, I don't know what it is called, so I'm having a hard time searching for one online.
Anyone know what the little piece of battle on the door jam is called? The door knobs and mechanism are on the door, but the door stays closed because part of the hardware catches in a metal part attached to the door frame.
That metal piece in the door frame is what I need to replace. Anyone know the name?
