My Google-fu has failed me, so I'll ask to see if any of you lovely people can help me out.

I'm considering adapting one of Asimov's robot stories for a theatrical production. I want to contact the estate, or whoever holds the rights, to find out if that would be possible. But after a while on Google, I can't seem to find who to contact.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If you visit the FAQ page, you'll see a reference to the estate authorizing a particular publisher to put up ebooks: http://www.asimovonline.com/asimov_FAQ.html

I suggest contacting that publisher. Give a brief statement of why you're interested in obtaining the rights to put on a small stage production, and ask if they could forward your request to a representative of the estate or otherwise put you in contact.

Ugh. In searching for an answer to your question, I've discovered that the Asimov estate has authorized a new trilogy of Robot books to be written by Mickey Zucker Reichert.
