Watching Patrick in things other then Star Trek is a pretty awe inspiring experience. The funny thing is when he yelled at the new baby sitter I think I would cry in the same situation because it would be like "Captain Picard is yelling at me!"

I really enjoyed his reading of The Last Battle. [Smile]

I saw him in a live production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe?

He slouched. [Eek!]

That's Kenneth Branagh, Not Patrick Stewart.

Patrick Stewart was just AMAZING in Jeffrey. It's a must for any true Patrick Stewart fan.

One thing is for certain, Patrick Stewart has range.

Actually, it's Patrick Stewart. Kenneth Branagh ONLY does The Magician's Nephew. I own the set. Other folks narrate the remaining five books.

Edit:
From product description:
quote:
Now, some of the most noted actors of our times have come together to read these extra-ordinary works.
But I don't have the list handy.

Jeremy Northam and Patrick Stewart are also mentioned on this page

Oh cool, I found the boxed set and it lists the actors. But it doesn't say who does which book:

The Complete Chronicles of Narnia CD Box Set [UNABRIDGED] (Audio CD)
by C. S. Lewis (Author), Kenneth Branagh (Narrator), Michael York (Narrator), Lynn Redgrave (Narrator), Derek Jacobi (Narrator), Alex Jennings (Narrator), Jeremy Northam (Narrator), Patrick Stewart (Narrator)

Cool! It always bugs me (for I've looked it up for friends before to rec) that they tend not to list all the names. I have to look at the specific folder for each book to see who narrates each.

I think, though, that they have the narrators listed almost in order, so:
Kenneth Branagh - The Magician's Nephew
Michael York - The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Jeremy Northam I think does A Horse and His Boy
Lynn Redgrave - Prince Caspian (every listen I am always impressed with how she does the voices of the Pevensie children)
Not sure about Derek Jacobi and Alex Jennings from memory.
Patrick Stewart - The Last Battle

From Wikipedia:
quote:
HarperAudio published the series on audiobook, read by British and Irish actors Michael York (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), Lynn Redgrave (Prince Caspian), Derek Jacobi (The Voyage of the Dawn Treader), Jeremy Northam (The Silver Chair), Alex Jennings (The Horse and his Boy), Kenneth Branagh (The Magician's Nephew) and Patrick Stewart {The Last Battle}.
Looks like you have it almost right.

It's such a dumb movie, IMO, but Stewart's acting is great.
