I just got this as a Kashrut alert via e-mail from the Chicago Rabbinical Council:
quote:
8 Shevat 5769

Effective immediately, all open stock of Fannie May Chocolates are no longer under the certification of the cRc. This includes all of the loose products sold in their retail stores. Factory packed products bearing the cRc logo continue to be accepted by the cRc as dairy – Cholov Stam.

'Tis a sad day...

I love the idea of a Kashrut alert. It should come with a little spinny siren and a flashing light.

I was thinking more like an Amber alert, flashed on signs in all the supermarkets and kosher grocery stores and restaurants.

They do.

I'm glad the box I already have is ok. But yes, a sad day.

Hmm. Wonder why I didn't get the alert? Very sad.
