Well I'll be in Japan until January 3rd. I'll be arriving in LAX at 9:30am and due to some terrible booking will not be leaving until I believe 7:30pm. All in all I have many many hours of layover to kill. I was wondering if any hatrackers in the area would like to meet up for lunch, maybe even games of some sort. I believe the 3rd is a Saturday. I there anybody who would be interesting in getting together? I know it's short notice, but what can you do?

I'll languish at LAX if there is no interest. I'm sure I'll survive it. /guilt

Is there a good way to bus from LAX to say Rivka's house? I'd love to see you folks again, I just need to make sure I can get from and to the airport effectively. Obviously I will not have a car as an option.

Doubtful. I've taken a cab, but never tried buses to do that route.

*sigh* This is L.A. We don't need no steenkin' public transportation.

Ah, but CT's suggestion in another thread reminded me: we DO have fairly decent airport shuttle companies.
