What can I say about a series finale that featured two nigh omnipotent robots, each 40 billion light years tall, fighting each other for the fate of all living things in every possible level of reality...wielding whole galaxies as their hand-weapons?

It was so stupid. It was so awesome.

Every character got what they truly wanted, in the end. Even if it was in a bittersweet, unexpected form.

Even Boota. [Cool]

While I'm still upset about SciFi's awkward handling of the series, I'm still so glad they -did- show it. I've put the Part One and Part Two DVD sets on reserve.

Eh, started watching it, then stopped. Not my cup of tea.

So, you're posting just to say that you're not interested in the subject of my post? [Wink]

I thought they were officially 100 million light years tall.

Looking it up, apparently Gainax has given what seems to be contradictory information on the true size of the TTGL. I'll just chalk it up to both mecha existing in a dimension opened by spiral and anti-spiral energy being utilized on an insane scale.
