Edit: Link is gone.

I like it. An almost Miyazaki-esque sense of playful weirdness to the imagery. [Cool]

It seems more like one of their short films rather than a full movie.

Looks good though.

"You know how there's these guys who hitch up balloons to lawn chairs to go flying? What if they hitched up their entire HOUSE!"

This looks to be fun.

That link isn't working for me.

Yeah, it's already been taken down I think.

I do vaguely remember seeing a trailer for this somewhere though. It was a while ago, so it's just this vague memory of seeing a bunch of animated balloons go by on the screen followed by the house they were attached to, with some sort of cute character in it.

I think the boy scout may be my favorite part, but it's hard to pick.

So far, my favorite part is casting Ed Asner as the lead character. What can I say? I'm a fan. [Big Grin]

Ah! I thought he sounded familiar. I agree, Asner is awesome.

Well, if anyone on this Earth can portray a grumpy old man well, it's him.

No love for Jack Lemmon or Walter Matthau? [Wink]

(Yeah, so they're both dead. Like that'd stop either of them!)

Posted by Nighthawk (Member # 4176) on :

Well, if Matthau wasn't dead, he'd certainly be my pick. He's the first one I thought of.

Why does Pixar even spend money on trailers? The news media should just announce "The new Pixar movie opens on such-and-such a date!" We don't need trailers, ads, commercials. That stuff costs money.

It's Pixar. We don't even need to know the name of the film or what it's about. Just tell me when the next Pixar movie opens, and I'll go see it and pre-order it on DVD.

Seatarsprayan: I second that!

Pixar never fails.
