... High octane imagery...and hey, character-building too!

Looks promising. [Cool]

This is a level beyond promising.

You may call it promising 2.

My goodness. James Bond with an actual plot. James Bond that isn't so utterly unrealistic.

James Bond with... character development from one movie to the next?!

I wonder if this says something about the way movies are going in general.

And I also wonder if the way they make a Bond movie during an age, reflects something about the age they're made in. Or at least what people want out of movies during that time.

I must say I love the title.
it has a ring to it. And Casino Royale was very good.

And quite manly. Lots of explosions and chases and moments of no dialogue but the panting that comes from heavy running.

Also this Bond is rather ruggedly hot.

It means that a franchise can successfully reinvent itself if it isn't afraid to take risks, then audiences embraces those risks.

It may also say something about the benefits of strippin a character down to their core, then seeing how that can be applied with a modern sensibility.

Unfortunately, I don't see it applying much to movies in general. I'd love it if someone tried to reinvent romantic comedies, made them work in a new way. Please.

It looks cool, but what I liked alot about Casino Royale was that it was a return to Bond the Spy as opposed to Bond The British Rambo.

This trailer leads me to believe they're going to have Bond doing the one man army approach rather than being stealthy and sly.

Bond can blow up stuff left and right as long as he's making an escape, but when he is infiltrating he must be silent, and if he is chasing somebody he can only start blowing stuff up once a movie. Any more and it bugs me.

The Casino Royale trailer focused on the widescreen action stuff over the sneaky stuff. I'm not worried. [Smile]

The new poster...

Isn't Bond's Walther PPK always black? I suppose it's a minor quibble. That is also not the best picture of Olga Kurylenko I've seen.

I'm just glad Bond isn't holding some huge assault rifle on the poster.
