I was walking through Sears with a friend and we come upon a particular couch, it was black and had foldable arm rests and a nice style of fabric.
So passing by I look at it and say "That's a nice couch" and the salesman who was behind us just drops what he was doing and says "Of all the couches in the store, you go to the cheapest couch in the store and say "that's a nice couch?" we have 4000$ couches and you think the 200$ one is the nicest one?"

If you're easily satisfied you are more likely to live an affluent life. When I got married, my wife and I bought our sofa and love seat at Deseret Industries, a place where people deposit things they don't want anymore, which are then sold very cheaply by the church. Both items cost me $50 USD total, and they are as comfy as couches come.
