Note: The following post will only make sense to those following the Fables graphic novel series. The rest of you will no doubt be confused as heck. My apologies.

Wow. The ending I hoped for, but didn't dare expect. Or was it? While Fly seemed to not only have defeated the Adversary's most elite and beloved troops, saved Haven, and gotten on the path to healing and growing well beyond his past tragedies...I can't help but think just how chilling the visionary (?) flash of Evil King Ambrose leading a new Wooden Army was.

It's a happy ending, but also the opening to myriad further epic stories concerning the new Once and Future King.


Plus, if readers thought the Adversary was ticked off and desperate before...

Hey, Bill even managed to answer the niggling timeline problem posed by the Jack of Fables pilot story.
