Both of those career ads were a bit off... on about an Indian salesman with seven kids and the other about pandas with bad asian accents. What was that all about?

Wanted looks interesting.
Man, the Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler movies are gonna SUCK.
The SalesGenie ads are... well... disturbing. And let's not talk about the jumper cables one.

I liked the one with the Godfather-esque car grille scene. I don't remember what kind of car is was for, so it was a poor commercial, though still funny.

Awful SalesGenie commercial.
I liked the Wall-E trailer. Cute. It was slow at work so we got to watch a lot of the commericials, and one of the guys watching was like "What's the Disney movie that's based off of that movie from back in the day?"
And I was like "Wall-E?"
"Yeah! They made it into a cartoon, but it had those movies from back when I was a kid about the robot."
Me - "...Brave Little Toaster?"
Girl - "I LOVE that movie."
Guy - "No! Not Brave Little Toaster, the one about the robot who becomes an American."
Me - "Johnny 5? Short Circuit?"
Guy - "Yeah that! They made it into a cartoon."
Admittedly, I didn't see the similarity before, and the eyes DO look like Five's, but, other than that it's absolutely different. Still I thought it was funny.

They may have been referring to the sequel, Tom. It was so forgettable other than Five getting citizenship that many people have merged the two films in their memories.

According to Andrew Stanton, WALL-E's design was inspired by one of the robots seen on the Jawa Barge in Star Wars.

It was for an Audi, some new kind of luxury, but I don't think they actually named the model shown. It reminded me of a terminator, though.
I liked the lizards doing Thriller. It was some Sobe product.

I'll bet The Godfather one was a hit with anyone who knows about the R8. Even with advertising there are probably few people who will get an R8 who don't already know about it.
I think the commercials this year were a bit of a let down. That's alright because the game more than made up for it.

I got what the Audi commercial was referencing, but the commercial didn't work at all for me. Some people seem to think pop culture references are automatically funny . . . and I suppose it was, but I didn't see any reason to consider buying this car from that commercial.
I loved that Oboe commercial too.
I hated the Sales Genie ads.

The screaming animals was pretty good too.
Talking shirt was funny.
Wall*e and Iron-man were short but good.
The delivery pigeons were funny.
I liked the caveman "wheel suck" commercial.

I really liked the Budweiser Horse team commercial. The one that had the dalmatian running the horse through a Rocky style training montage.
The scream one was also pretty hilarious.
Talking stain got a mixed reaction of weirded out and hilarity from the folks I was with. The consensus was finally that we loved it.
Carrier Pigeons was also pretty good.
It was a pretty blah year though compared to past years.

Oh, by no means! You can't visit any of the various comics boards without hearing about how it'll suck. But that happens with every movie-based-on-a-comic. With the possible exception of Road to Perdition!

The firebreathing guy was a budlight commercial. I liked the Will Ferrell Bud light commercial. Huh, the one I just googled up was different from the one I remember.

If they would only make funny commercials all year round.
Advertisers complain that people skip commercials, yet they have one time a year where people actually download and watch the commercials after the event.
It isn't that hard to be creative...why can't they do it year round.
And as BlackBlade said, that was an awesome game.

I thought the best commercial was the Coke ad with the giant parade baloons of Stewie and Underdog fighting for the Coke Balloon.
I think the parade balloons ad was my favorite too, Mig. The other ones the group enjoyed were the etrade baby (particularly the clown ad), the Rocky Clydesdale, the oboe ad, and Will Ferrell.
We had a large international crowd at my house - the majority had never seen an American football game before - but apparently everyone 'round the world thinks clowns are creepy.

I liked the Career builder one "Follow your heart", but that may have had more to do with my personal situation at work. If it weren’t for that, it would have been a little disturbing.
Shaq as a horse jockey was the only one that demanded a rewind for others to see at my house.

The one with the doritos where the "mouse" bursts out of the wall and beats the guy up was pretty awesome as well.

I was a huge fan of the Doritos commercial. It completely caught me off guard to see that giant mouse charge out of the wall.
But i'm probably just a fan of the product, since they were the corporate sponsor of the Stephen Colbert for president campaign.
