Maybe having an obituary prepared for her when she's 26 will be a wake-up call.
...Maybe having a court decide Kevin Federline looks like a better parent would be a wake-up call.
...Maybe having her "come-back performance" become the laughingstock of every entertainment section would be a wake-up call.
Maybe...
Aw, heck, who am I kidding.
Never mind.

Darn. Now I feel bad for laughing. Why does this always happen when it comes to Brittany & co? On one hand, everything about her life and her family makes me sad. On the other hand, I just can't stop myself from laughing.

Do you mean Britney, or are you talking the French region?

I'm betting his spell-checker means the French region.
Personally, I find it sad but it sure would be a time-saver if her downward spiral continues that far in the next few months. *sigh*

No... poor Brittany! Posted by pooka (Member # 5003) on :

True, dat.

I swear to God the first thing I thought when I saw this was "What the hell happened in France?"
I'm a bit of a dork though.

Well, the Bretons are in mourning for the countryside.

Upon receiving the keywords of ' brittany british invasion ' from my search for the link above, Google responded with "Did you mean: britney british invasion"

Tara, I think what is really hilarious is the mother of Britney and Jamie writing a book on parenting.
Posted by Sterling (Member # 8096) on :
...A book whose release has been mysteriously delayed...
EDIT: Ye gods, that I know some of this stuff without even being particularly invested in the subject is kind of nauseating.
Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
Not mysteriously. Her publisher "decided now is not the right time for it."
Posted by Sterling (Member # 8096) on :
There was a note of sarcasm in that "mysteriously" that didn't quite carry.
Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
Oh, I got the sarcasm, I just thought the statement that now is not the right time was too funny to pass up posting.

Interesting. Quotes for anything other than an actual quoted passage was one of my English teacher's pet peeves. I suppose I can use them after all. If it's on the intar-web, it must be true.

We have too many "people" around here using "quotation marks" that way already. Don't "encourage" this dreadful "phenomenon"!

That was in 2001. Three out of seven are still alive.

I feel bad for even mentioning this - but I very much doubt that anyone had written an obit for Heath Ledger.
Let's be generous, and hope Britney outlives us all.

It's pretty apparent no one had.

Thank you, Rivka.
