You're a few years late to this party Blayne. [Wink]

Also be forewarned that the video has some mild to moderate cartoon gore. Besides that it's pretty funny.

Hey me too! I like all the X-Men "house of M" and all those parodies.

There She Is is also pretty cute.

The cartoon gore and violence are nothing to the sheer horror you will feel about four hours from now when you start humming that insidious song to yourself.

It's inevitable.

Yes. I saw this almost a year ago.

It's fun!

Still a great Christmas Video.

Calaban is right, Blayne. You may be in for a month or two of that tune being stuck in your head. I was able to pry it out with "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard", but really, it wasn't much of a trade, since the only thing I could think of to get that out of my head was the Ultimate Showdown. <sigh>

And lem, Chuck Norris had previously chewed Jack Bauer up into a paste and spit him into the corner. If you look carefully, you can see a speck in one of the frames. That's Jack.

One of my professors was getting intensely annoyed at my class since we would never talk in it (we were at an 8:30 a.m. time slot) and showed us the 'They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard" clip to provoke a reaction out of us.

Still didn't work.

I'm fine right now because I have the soundtrack to Wicked stuck in my head.

I wasn't in this because they needed some of the other characters to survive long enough to be able to sing about them.

If I'd have been in this, the last 9/10ths of the song would be about me sitting around looking at famous corpses.

oh thats true. that damn song gets to you. it's like that song on the radio, Paralyzer, or whatever. not that good, but just so dang catchy.

<snort> You aren't even the toughest Jack, Jack. That honor goes to Spy Daddy Jack Bristow.

Er... sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. Really. You can come out from under that table now. Jack...?

Just seeing the thread title is enough to set if off again in my head.

There is a cure for that, you know. The only problem is that the cure may be worse than the problem. And that there is no known cure for the cure. In case you are interested, the cure for a song stuck in your head is "The Girl from Ipanema". It has the power to exorcise any other song stuck in your head. However, if that gets stuck in your head, well, you're plumb out of luck. And it's contagious, because once you get "Ipanema" stuck in your head, you start humming it, and passing the infection on to innocent bystanders. [Angst]

I named my Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot in Kingdom of Loathing after that video. [Wink]

Thanks Tante - I got "The Girl from Ipanema" stuck in my head after you mentioned it, so I had to use "The Chicken Dance" to clear that out, but now THAT is stuck in my head, so I'm going to go watch Magical Trevor to get rid of the Chicken song. [Mad]

Yeah. Right. I could make that guy want to kill his own daughter to make the pain stop before you could name the four people who watched that show through the finale.

<big smile> That's it, Jack! Don't let your fears conquer you. Talk big!
