Reading will by G.Gordon Liddy. I know nothing about Watergate preceding, but the book seems so damn unapologetic so far i can't help but think he is being as honest as he can be. For what ever reason the guy is in love with J. Edgar Hoover though, so he loses intelligence points in my book.
Damn good read so far though.
Anyone else read it or have thoughts on the subject?

I have read it. Liddy is a self-aggrandizing blowhard. It was an interesting read, of course, for the "inside scoop" on Watergate aspect of it. He's so pleased with himself in this book, and his own perception of his superior unstoppable will-power. I admit I was most fascinated by the stuff where he describes the tactics of discrediting political opponents of Nixon, especially those insane black-hearted peaceniks and hippies. The depths to which he is willing to sink in those chapters say much more about the man than he would say himself. Clearly he is the follower of some kind of twisted mutant code of morals. An example of what we should all strive not to become.
