That's me. I used paint to put meself in the place of Stalin. Which I am using as my avatar for simcountry.

You certainly have an odd sense of humor.

But to each his own...

Of course, it's been said that my own sense of humor is a bit weird (among other things like "not funny"), so I'm not really one to judge.

Does your school have a lab with photoshop in it? I think you could do a much better job for an avatar with photoshop and ten free minutes.

Posted by rollainm (Member # 8318) on :

Heck, 30 seconds. 1 minute tops.

I was assuming he had no prior experience with it and would mess up a time or two. It would take me two minutes but I'd be quite meticulous, and try to make the colors blend better as well as setting his head on the body with no line, and more in scale.

Yeah...I would, too. I'd probably spend half an hour on a similar project. But 30 seconds would be plenty of time for a "much better job."

If I was to link the source pictures per chance you could help me out? I'ld be grateful [Smile]

I don't have photoshop at the moment. Nor do I have much of an inclination, to be perfectly honest. But really, Blayne, you could do better even with Paint. You can do it. Put some effort into it and you might be surprised what you can accomplish.

I could do it if I get my final done in time on Thursday (the only day i'm in the photoshop lab).

Or GIMP, for that matter. While it isn't as good as photoshop, it is free and more than sufficient for something like this.

My cousins are helping me download and learn gimp over break, I'm excited.

Are you trying to ask a question, because that could be so much more effectively done by asking it.

Posted by Blayne Bradley (Member # 8565) on :
