JULIA'S KITCHEN author Brenda Ferber's THE YUCKIEST, DROOLIEST, STINKIEST, BEST VALENTINE'S DAY EVER, a fractured version of "The Gingerbread Boy" in which a little boy's romantic intentions are foiled when his cynical, wisecracking valentine comes to life and gives chase, to Kathy Dawson at Harcourt, in a nice deal, by Michelle Andelman at Andrea Brown Literary Agency (World English).

Her first novel, Julia's Kitchen won awards, and her second novel, Jemma Hartman, Camper Extraordinaire is due out early next year, I think.
