Anyone have a used Oracle 10g they are willing to sell? Or should I try amazon.

I would actually recommend the online documentation. Oracle docs tend to be a bit turgid, and print isn't the best medium for them.

maybe its more accurate to say the "examples" we are supposed to do and take screenshots of are in the book.

Blayne, I'm pretty sure solicitations like this aren't really allowed here. Imagine if many people started threads when they were looking to buy or sell something.
Hatrack might come to look like ebay or craigslist, two sites where you may find better results.

Honestly, I'm not sure if there is an actual stated rule. I wouldn't be suprised if, when this was set up, there was an assumption that people would have the basic consideration for others not to do this. I've whistled my post to notify PJ.

There's a difference between a class that teaches general database theory - a class that should be database unspecific - and one that teaches you how to use a specific database environment.
Also, maybe it's me, but it appears that he's asking for the book... not the answers.

Wait, wait, wait... You're asking for the FACTORY documentation for the actual product, or a common text book?
No school or class should expect its students to have access to the core documentation of a product, especially for one that's worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Uh... the PRODUCT is Oracle 10g. "Oracle Database 10g", if you want to be specific:
Whatever book you're looking for should have a PUBLISHER. I can find fifty books called "Microsoft SQL Server 2005", but it depends if it's Microsoft Press, Osbourne or a billion other publishers. And that's just the ones off the shelf from a bookstore; I have no idea what the publishers are for an educational institution.
