After reading the HP books (No spoilers, I promise), I was talking about them all the time at church. So, my pastor rented the first four HP movies from the library, and he, his wife, and his son all watched them, and loved them.

So, now, a couple weeks later, his wife is just now starting the DH (Which I lent her), and he's ready to read the books once he's finished with (Drumroll please)...

Speaker for the Dead. He had started reading sci-fi again, and wanted to know what I recommended. I recommended Enders Game, and he checked it out from the library (After finishing a massive Clarke short-story collection).

Now, he's reading Speaker, and I'm just really excited.

I also brought Dune to church, and one of the church elders came up to me and said how much he loved that book.

I just really like being able to lend books out, or recommend them, and have other people enjoy them as much as I did, or, having another person recommend (Or, in my case, reaffirm) a book and coming to love it (I've only just started Dune)

<sigh>

So, that's it. Just wanted to post it, since I rarely experience this kind of thing outside of this forum. It's fun. [Big Grin]
