It has been alternately snowing or hailing all day today . . . and yesterday . . . and forecast for tomorrow, too . . .
and that's a trifle odd, here in the great PacNW.
That is all.
Carry on.

Indeed.
School was delayed two hours in my town...
I guess they were just playing it safe, because really, there was just water on the ground by the time the busses would have been running.

The funny thing is that there are schools who tried to schedule make-up days today to make up for all the ice and snow earlier, that were cancelled on account of the weather again!

Yeah...
I live in Oregon, and it snowed this morning! We don't delay in my town either because blech.
The town over had plenty of snow though, and school was canceled I believe.
by the way, is it cancelled or canceled?

I want the weather to just make up its bloody mind already. Posted by aspectre (Member # 2222) on :
Why? Spring doesn't arrive until March 20th this year.

It hailed Monday night in San Francisco. Apparently it doesn't do that too often. It was a big deal on the news that night. It was a mild annoyance for me -- I just ducked into the hotel my friend was staying at until it finished, and then resumed heading back toward mine.

Sounds like Michigan most every day of the year, to varying degrees.

I have a screenshot of the NWS website last weekend, showing us in a Blizzard Warning and a Tornado Watch at the same time.
