Unfortunately, no images of Pan or Iorek...yet.

The daemons and ice bears are probably still just a series of numbers in a computer somewhere. *sigh*

I do hope that's not supposed to be Lyra, she doesn't look at all like her.

When dealing with child actors, acting skill is often more important than looks.

Pullman went on the record saying he was extremely impressed by Dakota Blue Richards' audition. That definitely perks up my interest.

Another Dakota? [Smile]

I'm just happy they got Mrs. Coulter spot on.

I loved the books, but I don't remember Mark Twain being a main character [Wink]

I just got it for chirstmas. I've already read it, though years ago, but i couldn't find it so i got a hard-back. Does anyone know if they plan to make all three?

I would have agreed with you before seeing the shot of her walking along the chairs.
That was Lyra.

It's much more brightly lit than I had imagined that world in my reading. Isn't that odd?

The costume design in awesome, especially the arctic stuff. And I like Lyra. [Smile]

Nicole Kidman = Mrs. Coulter = perfect

No! Not odd!
There is very low light in that world, for sure.

Sterling. I agree. I remember it being a lot darker than the movie makes it seem. Still, I love Nicole Kidman as Mrs. Coulter, although I always thought of Lord Asriel as being a lot older than Daniel Craig. Still, I think it's going to be amazing. And hopefully this new Dakota will be good. She'd better be *brandishes fist menacingly at new Dakota*.

Weird, I don't remember it feeling that dark at all.

Liz, that's a great idea! Plus, all kids love polar bears, they will enjoy it.
