Card says they rounded the tops for some inexplicable reason. But think about it: if you can't balance it upside down, you can't get all the shampoo out of the bottle (not without some serious effort or by adding water). Therefore, you gotta go out and buy a new bottle. That's profit!!

adding water is not serious effort.
I use pantine with the flat top obviously made for storing upside down and I STILL add water. I just can't see wasting that last hair washing.
Does this make me a cheapskate?
