It's been snowing all day in Detroit. Anyone else enjoying a wintery blast?

Snow/sleet mix in downtown Buffalo. The temperature has dropped 12 degrees from when I got here at 7:30 am. I wore a short sleeve shirt and at the last second picked up my windbreaker. Supposed to be 1-3 inches by the morning tomorrow. [Mad]

Yah! We're better than Buffalo and Detroit!

(Doesn't sound that surprising when spoken aloud, does it?)

Yeah it does, no one is better than Detroit. [Razz]

Central California...1 p.m. local time...beautiful blue skies with a few high, wispy white clouds. 73 degrees F, with a light breeze.

It's beautiful out today. [Big Grin]

It's unseasonably warm and humid here... we've had Kona winds blowing (from the south, instead of our usual tradewinds), bring vog from the volcanic emissions on the Big Island. It's been downright nasty here for the last few days, and the forecast is that it will be like this into next week. [Frown]

But I have night-blooming jasmine in my yard, so my house smells heavenly.

True the muddy snow is a bit on the less than savory side.

But to me nothing beats the sound of boots trampling over freshly fallen snow. It's a soothing crunch.

Thanks [Smile] Congrats on a soon to be 5,000 for you.

Wow, I was just thinking how cold it is here in FL so I looked up the actual temperature and its umm 90 [Razz] To me thats still cold though its nice at this time of day but in the mornings I have to have a sweatshirt.

Sorry my first double post [Embarrassed]

90 is cold?

90 is unbearably hot, I have to strip down and sit next to an air vent when it gets that hot.

How in god's name do you survive anything above 75 with a sweatshirt on?

Don't send the snow this way yet. The weather may be bad, but not that bad.

It's cold here in Illinois. Supposedly there was a bit of snow, but I didn't see it.

It's freeeeeezing here in Columbus, Ohio, but no snow. Unfortunately. I don't like it when it's cold but not snowing.

It was supposed to snow here (Ithaca) this weekend, but now they've changed the forecast to rain and 50 degree weather.

It's 95 degrees, 117% humidity and raining here in Miami.

I hate you.

Yes... YOU.

I am so happy I don't live where it snows any more.

Snow is fun the first day. After that, the rest of the winter is miserable. At least in Nebraska it is.

If I never live somewhere that gets below zero again in my life, it will be too soon.

Send a few drafts of that stuff toward Kansas, when you get a chance. Not that we're truly cold here, but I like warmer weather than October usually grants me.

It has been cold all day. Earlier this morning/noonish it was snowing like crazy, but it was that nice non-sticky snow, so it's all gone now. All my begonias looked kinda pretty all snow covered for an hour. [Smile]

I always forget how bad the wind is in downtown Chicago. Every year I forget it, and I've lived here my whole life.
