There used to be a "chat" button at the top of a site, which lead, appropriately enough, to a chat room. Since the program was called "Parachat", it was called that to distinguish it from the AOL chat.

I've gone into AIM chat several times - and there is never anyone there...

Like I said, half dead. About half the time I go in there, someone will be, or once in a while, I send out invites.
