Did anyone else see the pilot? That is one amazing show. God, I hope it lasts. It reminds me of a book I once read called Watch Me. I used to love watching "It Takes a Thief" when I was a kid. The whole "set a serial killer to catch a serial killer" thing is pretty cool, too.

I don't get Showtime, but when I saw this thread I went to their website to check it out. You can watch the first few episodes at http://tv.yahoo.com/feature/showtime_preview.html

I'm always interested in TV Shows and movies set in Miami. I was going to say that I was impressed, that this show seemed unique among shows and movies set in Miami by not despising Cubans, and then his sister said, "She's dumber than those boat people--throw her a f*cking raft!" um, wtf?! [Confused]

Aside from that moment, I thought it was well done. He really does seem like a sociopath, the almost sex scene was convincingly nervous, and several moments made me very tense. I would not subscribe to Showtime just to watch it, but I am interested enough to watch the next one on the website . . . or is it that I just don't feel like getting work done?

I was surprised by the fact that the English swear words were edited out on yahoo, but the Spanish ones were not.

Alas, the other two are commercials, not episodes. I would have watched on, just to find out what happened with the serial killer he was after.

Heh, here I am working for the cable company and haven't watch it yet. Thank goodness for On Demand. [Smile]
