Does anyone know anything about Serenity II? Because I couldn't find any data on it.

Nothing planned, nothing announced. Whedon is working with Brett Matthews on a new comic book miniseries to take place before the movie. Otherwise, nada. And, in a recent interview Sean Mahrer (Simon) said "they have until Sept 2007 to decide" which implies to me that the contracts the stars signed have end dates, although I could be reading it wrong. I have no doubt the cast would come back anyway.
However, things are picking up. Dark Horse released a Serenity ornament that's selling very well. Jason Palmer is making and selling beautiful licensed art prints based on the Big Damn Heroes. A new prop replica company called QMx is starting up any day now with promises of replica Verse money and Mal's gun. Diamond Select just announced a new limited edition River statue. Titan Books released volume one of their Firefly Companion books. And more stuff is on the horizon. Clearly the customers are out there. Fans might (and do) make stuff for each other, but companies that want to stay in business don't market dead-end products.

And Serenity is showing on the big screen in Bryn Mawr, PA on Friday September 29th and Saturday September 30th at midnight!
