Brocolli kills cancer...

Broccoli has more pesticides than any other vegetable...
But luckily, they're naturally evolved pesticides that the broccoli produces itself.

It's yummy!
Assuming you aren't allergic to peanuts.

Now there's a combo I've never heard of?
*looks over at frige, scratches head and asks to himself should I try it*

Kind of like the peanut butter/mayonnaise/lettuce sandwich?
(Surprisingly good, mind...)
Posted by Jenny Gardener (Member # 903) on :
It would be like a Thai combination. Quite good, probably.

How exactly does one combine broccoli and peanut butter? Is it just raw broccoli dipped in peanut butter. Is it steamed broccoli with peanut butter melted on like a sauce? Stir fried broccoli with ginger, garlic, soy sauce and peanut butter?
Posted by theamazeeaz (Member # 6970) on :
Raw broccolli dipped in peanut butter spread on with a knife.
Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :
If you added onions, basil, sesame oil, chicken, and bell peppers your stir fry would be a winner.

Do I get honorable mention?

Have you tried it raw with PB yet?

Brocolli must die.

Broccoli (note it is the "c" that is doubled, not the "l" according to the online Webster's Dictionary) supplies a good amount of calcium. It is one of the vegetables richest in this mineral. That is in addition to the vitamin A.
I like it. Nobody ever made me eat it. I just like it.
Posted by theamazeeaz (Member # 6970) on :
But do you eat it with peanut butter?
Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :
Maybe someone forced him to eat peanut butter, in which case he asked for some broCCoLi. I often misspel that.
Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :
Isn't it funny though that one forum topic mistake could spawn so many errors? Good job to Ron for catching that. I hadn't noticed.
Posted by Ron Lambert (Member # 2872) on :
theamazeeaz, I have not eaten broccoli with peanut butter, but I have eaten peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.
Kaminari, some words are just prone to being misspelled. No matter how many times I look them up, there are certain words I still have to check again from time to time. At least I recognize and acknowledge the words I am unsure of, and bother to look them up. I guess I've always been a bit of a perfectionist in that regard.
Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :
Yeah, I have a hard time with simple words that I know are correct but just look funny for some reason. Can't think of any off the top of my head, but i know what you mean.
Posted by JennaDean (Member # 8816) on :
Unnecessary.
Or is is unneccesary?
Or Unneccessary?
I have to look it up every time. I'm pretty sure there are at least two n's, though.

unnecessary : ) You were right on the first try...
Posted by theamazeeaz (Member # 6970) on :
Ron, you should try it with PB.
Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :
haha, way to bring the forum back to topic thea. And Jenna, I have to admit that I was still thinking about which one was correct until I read cmc's post. crazy.
