Cool.
I'm going for a week at the end of August/beginning of September. My brother's getting married.

Congrats! To both of you!
I keep getting constant emails from my congregation and other mailing lists I am on to not cancel trips if any plans had already been made.

As long as you don't go too far north, it should be pleasant enough. It's really amazing how a terrorist-ridden war zone can be less than a mile from a peaceful residential neighborhood, there.
I got too old for a Birthright trip while waiting for Israel to be less violent, and now of course the good old days (five years ago) look peaceful in comparison.

Well, some of my cousins are in the north, but far enough south of Haifa that I don't believe they've had any problems. Anyway, I doubt I'll get up to see them, or anywhere outside of Yerushalayim. Trip's too short. Fortunately, I expect they'll be at the wedding.
