I just thought I'd pop in to say hello to those friends I can't reach via AIM.

Lessee...on the good news front: First, I have a working vehicle again. It's a van, which I'm not thrilled about, but at least the transmission isn't falling apart.

Second, I'm writing again! Okay, it's just fanfic...at this point, I'd be thrilled with anything. It's a first step, and it's going well. I think. It can be found at Buffyworld , where I've been spending way too much time lately. (I use the nick Mabus101.)

Third, an old friend from high school has unexpectedly materialized. I hadn't seen Beatrice in years, and we're having considerable fun catching up.

Bad news...still working nights at Cracker Barrel and having ugly sleep problems. I thought I'd solved them, but I can't seem to hold a regular schedule in place. One day I'm fine, the next I can't struggle out of bed till time for work.

If anyone knows useful information about science editing, which I'm looking into, please let me know.

Hi, Derrell. Do I know you?

[Group Hug] to ludosti and Myr (Myr, do you actually appear on AIM anymore, or do you just stay "Away"?)

[Smile] Hehe. I'm pretty much always away because I have summer projects I am doing on my other computer that I desperately need to finish. It's getting ridiculous how long they're taking me!

Anyway, soon I should be done and then free to be AIMing up a storm once again! (I hoooope!)

Hi, Rivka.

Thanks for the info, Myr. That makes sense.

I'm curious...is there anyone around here who reads Buffy fanfic? For whatever reason, though people appear to be reading my work, no one is commenting on it. I know I'm more technically proficient than quite a few of the writers at Buffyworld, but there are other measures of writing ability than that.
