*edit* I finally got it to work by geussing a random lan ip number 192.18.1.2 that is apparently my ps2's ip address and now i can go online wiht ym ps2.

ow all I need is a USB mouse, keyboard a hub and a valid credit card.

Also I have it pluged in via ethernet to my router then to my cable modem then to outside if that helps.

check the manual. I think you have to set up each game after u set up the modem. You have to go to the settings when u select online play.

okay tried it a different way but i need a DNS addess where do I get one?

okay how do I figure out my DNS server if its dynamically given?
