The Barenaked ladies are a bunch of lovable scamps. One of the things they take delight in doing is subtling changing some of their lyrics for live shows and such.

One of their songs "These Apples" has a line "Though sometimes I stammer and mix up my grammar". On a bootleg I have, they changed it to "Though sometimes I stammer and mix up my gramma".

So, remember, if you're trying to spell grammar, it's spelled just like gramma but with an 'r' at the end.

Alanis Morissette changed some of the lyrics to her songs for her re-make of Jagged Little Pill. My favorite change:
Meeting the man of my dreams/and then meeting his beautiful wife.
-->
Meeting the man of my dreams/and then meeting his beautiful...husband.
Yep. Awesome.

Incidently she did that when I saw her in concert with none other than ... the Barenaked Ladies.

That is a funny change by Alanis... My friends and I used to sing it that way when we were rocking out in the car - I didn't know she liked the joke. ; )
