BURBANK, Ill. (CBS 2/WBBM Newsradio 780) -- A 15-year-old southwest suburban boy and his friends are wondering what could have made a group of teens beat him, then take his prosthetic leg and use it as a weapon on a friend who came to his rescue.
I'm just glad they were in the city, not Good Country People and no demented Bible salesmen were involved.

I guess the moral of this story is that when people get drunk, they sometimes will take any excuse to beat up someone, and if the person they are beating has a prosthetic leg, so much the better.
I hope they catch the guys. Grrrrrrr.

At least it wasn't really true to Flannery O'Connor or the boy'd be dead, probably. I'm really glad a new leg is being donated.
