I currently work only 5-10 hours a week on weekends and I figure I need a weekday job until I manage to join the reserves. (Fear the Mighty Canadian Armed Farces then!)
I cna program in C++, I know HTML, know how to use any Microsoft bundle program (word, excel, pagemakerthingy, etc), I can code somewhat in Flash, somewhat knwoedgeable in Lan/IP stuff, know something about computers (I could probly diagnose what the problem is definately "not" ), I can built/strip down computers, computer literate.
Aside from my compskillz I am used to manual labour, such as landscaping, lawnmowing, archetecture, plastering, putting up jiprock, carry heavy objects, can tend gardens, simple construction and did various "helper" roles with contractors before.
je parler anglais et un peu francais.
Currently studying some russian and Chinese.
Okay hatrack any ideas for what kind of jobs I am qualified for?

That depends mostly on your work experience and what jobs are available in your area.
Odds are, most of your technical expertise will be useless without a degree unless you have connections to get you a job in the field. Your best bet, IMO, is to try for a decent summer job involving manual labor. Warehouse work, painting, assisting in construction - this sort of job. For most of these, you don't need much on your resume to be successful as long as you are physically capable of doing the work in question.

I would say that based on your computer knowledge you could easily land any number of tech support jobs. Is there a Convergys near where you live? Any ISP, big or small? Dell?
Low level tech support is a fairly easy job. If you're a decent communicator and can troubleshoot fairly simple hardware/software problems then you should be able to easily find work. They're mostly full-time jobs, and they usually pay a decent wage. I worked at Convergys for $10/hour, Telus for $16/hour and IBM for $18/hour. All three jobs had easy tests to determine if you were qualified for lower tier tech support. None of them had strenuous interviews.
The other good thing about tech support jobs is that you usually get three weeks of training minimum. That's just easy money.

Be sure to spell the company's name like that on your application--you'll be a shoe-in. In fact, if at all possible you should find a way to use that whole sentence.

Have you thought about checking into a temp agency in your area. They often are more than happy to take and help military people on short term basis and find them quality jobs. Though this all depends on the area you are in. You could also stand on the corner with a tin cup and a sign saying soon to be a military vet...just joking!

umm it was kinda.... 1 AM when I posted this... and finished a 6 hour shift as a dish washer in a greek restuarant so the spelling mistakes were completely accidentil so sorrwy
