Well, from 3 weeks ago to now I had to do the following:
Complete at least 1 exam in Visual basic worth 15% of my mark, and one assignment worth 10%.
Currently I have more or less 57% in VB but the 10% assignment should be more then enough to pass me.
Then in English I had 2 essays, the one on dictatorships, and one on China both worth 20 and 30% respectively. I had to work overtime to finish them.
I had a major presentation and a major paper in ethics, both worth 40% so 80% total. The major paper I'm working on and its due tomorrow.
I had a test in Chemistry of Sex and an 20% assignment to do for tuesday, if I boom the test I think I'll fail the course and because I'm on probation it means barring some miracle I'll be kicked out of Abbott for a year, which will result in a massive fight with my parents and what not, they may even kick me out before I have enough money saved up to do so.
I feel so stressed. Anyone else in a similar SITREP?

Kind of. I have a major seminar paper and an exam, and about 11 days to do both. Exam won't be a problem, seminar paper will.

You still have exams? I thought you were a lawyer? So I geuss your only studying to be one?

Got ya beat, Dag - I've got 20 hours to write 12 pages for my Greek paper.
And here I am...

I so want to take a class called "Chemistry of Sex."
My biggest worry right now is taking the GMAT. The hardest part so far is actually getting up the nerve to schedule the test.

I've got a 8-10 philosophy paper on moral epistemology, another paper, similar length, on the works of various economic nobel laureates, a 15-minute presentation on the economic paper, another 15-minute presentation on game theory & evolutionary psychology, and about four hours of operations research problems.
That's all due next week.
Then I have four finals: OR (take-home, will probably take about 12 hours to finish), game theory (cumlative), godless universe (philosophy course, should be easy), and real analysis (cumlative )
That's the week after next.
Then I'm free... free as a bird... (for a week before summer research starts).

I want to take the LAB.

Well, hopefully the instructor doesn't assign lab partners...

I need to write my AAR tonight so I can get the 250 ducats I need to build those manus.

When a highly motivated class of 30 averages 63% on a quiz, I think the professor should curve. I also think said professor should curve when said class averages 73% on the next.
Just sayin'

why tonight? I thought it was due tomorrow nioght?
Posted by King of Men (Member # 6684) on :
Yes, but I'm in a CK game then and can't write. So are you, in fact.

My stress is almost over I just have one final Organic chemistry exam tomorrow. Over the last week and a half, though, I've done six other finals in physics, physics lab, anatomy, anatomy lab, molecular biology and world history. In addition I have to be moved out by 10 am Monday morning, and I can't move in to my new place until 8 am Monday morning, which will make for an interesting Monday. Luckily I don't have a lot of stuff to move. And my next semester starts on Monday at 10 am, with a morning microbiology class.

oooooh yeaaaaaah... tomorrow... should I write an AAR? Am I able to get a BB reduction?
Posted by King of Men (Member # 6684) on :
Well, you could, but you've only got 7.3. I'd go for money or deflation, were I you. Incidentally, you've got all your religions equally tolerated; since there aren't actually any Muslims in your realm, as far as I know, you can drop them and use the tolerance to reduce the revoltrisk for your Confucian provinces.

i meant in CK my bb is a tad worser. In EU2 I usualyl just go for deflation.

I'm moving in 2 days. A whole apartment load of furniture up to a 3 story apartment. I am not looking forward to it.
Posted by King of Men (Member # 6684) on :
Oh, CK. Well, there's no rule about AAR rewards in that game. You could suggest one, though.

12 hours, 9 pages left.
Hot dang, I'm good at procrastinating!

I've just finished a politics paper, and a political geography paper... oh and my teaching portfolio. I can't wait to hand them in later this morning!
I've got two exams in about 10 days... and then I go back home and start on next year's dissertation!
Posted by Carrie (Member # 394) on :
11 hours, 7 pages.
Getting better - I may actually sleep tonight!
Posted by Carrie (Member # 394) on :
Under 7 hours, 4 pages.
Hey - I took a nap already. And I realized I have yet to finish the other paper I have due today. Oh crap.

My kids both have colds, it seems like when one falls asleep the other one wakes up, and my husband went from being home almost full-time to being away about 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. The two-year-old is not taking it well.
Neither am I.

Tsk tsk tsk! (sympathetic clucking for all those stressed out students and moms of sniffly kids)
Posted by Carrie (Member # 394) on :
One hour, 0 pages. And I slept for two hours.
Now I've just got a paragraph to conclude my seminar paper, and I'm done! Booyah!

Good job Carrie!
Posted by Blayne Bradley (Member # 8565) on :
i finished my ethics paper, my teacher wants to hand in the copies of sources I used so I geuss I will to add some marks.
Now I need to wait for the results of ym french and chem tests.
Posted by Evie3217 (Member # 5426) on :
Let's see, before tuesday I have to:
-Study for and take a French exam (on a Saturday!)
-Prepare a portfolio for my English class
-Rehearse a scene and do all the written work for it, which is about 8 pages of analysis.
Yeah, that's not too bad, considering that I've already done a lot of my work. Still, I'm not looking forward to this weekend. Yay finals!
