So I have taken three lie-detector tests over a three month period for my job. Failed two, took the last one today, and PASSED!
I really wasn't lying so it shook me up every time I failed, and towards the end I wondered if it was possible my physiology just wouldn't allow for an accurate reading. As it was, my tester had to send his results away to be validated, and i was only informed of my "passage" by email about an hour ago.
But I passed! I'm a normal person! Thanks to those of you that gave me calming down advice after my first failure, I think you may have saved me from a heart attack.
Edited to make more sense than it did

Being nervous during one of those can really throw you off. Congratulations on passing the third one!
(Third time's a charm.)

What sort of questions were they asking? I understand you may not be able to tell me the exact ones.
