Spam is my new obsession. You might remember my craze with onions.... well, spam is the new thing. I just can't get enough! It's sick and weird, I know. But it's just SO GOOD.

Spam...can't say anything too good about it. Nasty stuff Spam is, but I'll eat it when I backpack.

How else do you cook your spam?
I like cubed spam, julienned green beans, and onion. A little butter, fry it up with salt and pepper (adding the ingredients in order listed). Eat with white rice. Or whatever you prefer.
So quick, so easy, so good.

They kind of rock.
I made them for my mainland friends during my first year of college without telling them exactly what the piece of meat on top was. They loved them. To this day, they make spam musubi on their own.

Nothing wrong with Spam. I probably have it on average at least once a month. I don't even do anything special with it; I just take it out of the can, wrap it in foil, and put it in the oven. It tastes similar to ham, hence the name. (Cold Spam I'm sure would be pretty nasty.)

I've never had Spam. I think its the stigma, but I just always assume it will be disgusting. I was about to say it is because I don't like the idea of canned meat, but I like canned tuna, so that can't be it. hmm... maybe one day I'll get drunk enough to try it.

So I did an image search on "onigiris". My first thought on seeing the the pictures of them was "oh, I've rolled up those before!"

Spam stir fry with fresh pineapple is very tasty.
Before I moved to Hawaii, I considered Spam as nothing more than a potential gag gift. We used to dare one another to eat it when I was in school. Now I eat it often. It's a very odd cultural phenomenon.
