I worked for National Geographic for a number of years. We had a form letter to respond to inquiries about the "hotheaded naked ice borer."

[Edited to say that on second look, it's actually the Top 100 April Fools Hoaxes, but there's no way I'm reading through all 100 of them and there are ten on the first page, so I'm leaving my subject line as is!]

BBC ran that whole special about the spaghetti trees. I thought that was hilarious when I saw it on the news last night. [Smile]
