Searching isn't my problem. I need a utility that cleans for me.

Is it improper to wish someone a "happy Passover?"

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Nope. [Smile] Quite proper.

More common is to wish someone a "Happy and Kosher Passover" (in Hebrew, "Chag kasher v'same'ach").

And this is for anyone who missed it last year.

I didn't think a turkey matzo club served with matzo a la mode was kosher. Unless it was dairy-free soy ice cream, I suppose...

Good luck cleaning. [Smile]

No soy on Pesach; it's kitniyos. But I have a good recipe for non-dairy Pesach "ice cream" which is good enough I sometimes make it during the year.

You have a recipe for parve, non-kitniyot ice cream? Um... I'll beg if necessary.

Ask me on Pesach. I can't access the recipe box at the moment.

But basically, you blend eggs, oil, sugar. Nuke 'em to kill any salmonella. Blend with more sugar, water, and vanilla sugar. (If making chocolate, use cocoa powder as well.) Half-freeze, blend again, freeze.

That's it, except for the proportions. It is just chock full of sugar and fat. [Big Grin]

Havah refers to Pesach as "Chag Ha-Cholesterol".

I keep reading 'Funny Passover RPG.'

Now if you can only find something dobie-able.

The "ice cream" recipe.
