Fifth grade choir concert tonight.

And he wore his first tie, ever.

*grin*

They sang some adorable songs, and then the middle school and high school choirs joined in for the last song, "We are the Young."

Oh my! What a world of difference between 5th grade and middle school, and then high school!

It reminds me to really slow down and appreciate these years -- he's changing and growing up so quickly!

Heh, I wore my first tie ever last month, and I'm 16. [Blushing]

I sang a song called "We Are the Young" in my junior high choir. I think it was in 6th grade, so about 13 years ago. I wonder if it was the same song?

I wore my first tie ever in October, when I started working at a restaurant. [Wink]

How sweet!

Was it regular or clip-on?

That's really cute [Smile]

Althought I originally read the thread as "My Wonderful Boy Bush" and, being the democrat I am, refuesd to read it on principle. My mind works in mysterious ways.

Clip-on, Mrs. M. I have no idea how to tie a tie.

*blush*

I am partial to the four-in-hand and the pratt.

I also failed miserably at ironing.

His left arm sleeve had four creases, rather than two.

*sigh*
