I don't remember seeing this here before, but the Weekly Standard has an article on line entitled The Browncoats Rise Again.

It's from June, 2005, so obviously before Serenity came out.

My favorite line was probably:

There were no sequels to The Matrix
Star Trek V was never made
Neither were Episodes 1-3

I just saw Serenity in the theater again...in Bryn Mawr! It was a midnight movie showing of it and they had about 100 people show up for it which was great
