Well, I woke up this morning. Unhappy as usual. And I saw it snowing outside. I thought, "Maybe there won't be school." But there was.

I got picked up by one of my mom's friends to go to Jazz Band. We got there and only about a fourth of us were there. And one of the people that came in said that the buses couldn't get out of their parking lot.

About fifteen minutes before school started it was cancelled. People had already show up for school. And there were a whole bunch of high school students who had been in accidents on their way to school.

I'm glad there isn't any school. But it angers me that it was called earlier.

I didn't have school here either, Steve. Although, since my mom works at the school, we got a phone call relatively early that said it was cancelled.

We're actually relatively close...see this map that I just made. The orange dot is where I live and the pink one is where I go to school.

I'll actually be really close to you all on Feb. 24th for FBLA...and you are in my district. Are you in FBLA?

*grumble* We haven't had snow since mid-December-- before winter started. It's been in the "high40s, low-50s" with occasional spikes above 60 ever since. Warmest January ever.

Wow...Steve, I didn't realize that we were that close...

I mean, my school plays Cuba in district football...and our schools are in the same class in Quiz Bowl, although different districts...

It's like a freaky coincidence.

EDIT: Oops. I forgot we changed football districts...now we play Mark Twain, Montgomery Co., and Centralia.
