Anybody else bought this album yet? Which songs are your favorites? Mine are Hide & Seek, Headlock, The moment I said it, and The Walk.

Wish Imogen Heap would get to my little backwater city. [Wink]

I love this album! It's one of my most-frequently-played items in iTunes. My favorites are "Getting Scared", "Goodnight and Go", and "Hide and Seek".

What band is it?

Imogen Heap. Have you heard anything by Frou Frou? It's the same singer.

Nope, never heard of them. What genre of music are they?

Mm. My favorites are Headlock and Loose Ends.

Indie pop, I guess?

isn't indie pop a oxymoron?

It's listed as "indie" in my iTunes. It's electronic, indie, folky....an interesting mix.

Actually (before reading that post, even!), in my iTunes I labeled it as "Indie Pop seems Oxymoronic." (I make up personalized genres for everything.) When It started out listed as "indie pop," which seems correct if you're going by "poppy" but not if you're going by "popular."

It was labeled electonica at Hastings. I'd label it "Enya on caffeine" but that's just me.

The thing I like most about her is that she does everything herself from what I understand.

Sampling, mixing, looping, singing, playing, recording etc.
