Here's my idea: I invent the opening line of a poem, the next person must write two lines, and everyone after must write two lines each. The rhmye will be a hard AA BB CC DD EE. Line lengths may vary. If the scheme gets broken, follow the new scheme as best you can. The next person should ad one line which rhymes with my line, then a new line, which will rhyme with the next person's first line etc. Ok?
KARLED's Corrections have been noted and adopted, if he could kindly edit out his note so there is a clean chain. Thanks Karl Ed!
Here we go.

Bringing news of floods in distant lands,
News that never tells me why such pain
***************** NOTE: you say "hard AB AB AB AB", but then your explanation indicates the scheme will be "hard AA BB CC DD EE", etc. You might want to correct that, or further clarify what you meant.

Poem to date: Wind and rain, dancing in the white sands Bringing news of floods in distant lands, News that never tells me why such pain It always comes with the rain There's always a calm before the storm Always a rest; then need informs my heart to beat again.
My addition: My being lies, has always lain, athwart a gulf, my mind is torn

And battred with a form all worn; That I can't see before me life -
(Wishing for iambic pentameter.)
