I have my own theory as to who the Carver is. If spoilers are really okay, I'll say, and we can see if I was right.
You can download it if you have to. Or get a friend to record it (as if there's really a difference between the two).
If I'm right, though, I'm not sure how they're going to manage a 4th season.

Hmm... well, Christian had serious problems after being attacked and raped by the Carver.
Matt had major issues with his having found out that Ava was a transwoman, so he went to a tranny bar and beat the hell out of a pre-op tranny, who later showed up with some friends and pounded Matt to a pulp. After that, Matt shaved his head and wound up dating a white supremicist girlfriend. But last week, he finally realized what scum she is, and I think that's going to be over.
Julia started a post-surgery spa with Gina, and started dating Quentin, who is a slimy plastic surgeon who joined McNamara/Troy when Sean took off on a midlife crisis. Quentin is who they've been trying to paint as the best suspect to be the Carver. Me, I think it's Sean. I think he's had a psychotic break, and that he's got the Carver as a personality. I know we saw him being attacked by the Carver himself, but we see Sean's hallucinations. He talks with cadavers. He imagined an entire scene with a woman he was involved with for a short time this season, and that scene never even happened.
I left out Kit. Sheesh. There must be a site that recaps Nip/Tuck eps. You should look for one.

Julia is pregnant and last episode was going to abort it but then decided not to and ran back into Sean's arms. *happy sigh*

About two hours left!
I've found summaries of the episodes that say things like, "Julia reveals a secret." Of course, since I'd already seen season two, I knew what the secret was. But I'd still like some more detailed ones.
I wonder who I know around here who has cable.

Although I like Kimber's reaction. She has grown as a person so much since she first showed up. She gained confidence in herself, something of a backbone, and a moral sense that wasn't very apparent at first. And as tragic as what happened to her is, it seems that she's actually grown a sense of perspective and an awareness of how shallow she'd been.

I agree that the ending was less than superb. I am curious as to what's wrong with Julia's baby. I had figured that if something was wrong she would get an abortion. But now it looks like she's moving in with Sean solely because something's wrong? That doesn't seem like something Julia would do to me, so I'm confused.
And starLisa, I've also enjoyed how Kimber's changed throughout the series.

About five minutes before the beginning of last night's finale, I guessed exactly who the carver were. I was actually surprised to get it right though.
I think this whole season wasn't quite as good as the last, but I only saw half the episodes of each.
