I'm putting together a ski weekend for a disparate group of folks from various sets of people I know and I'm pushing the theme of 80s and early 90s ski movies as part of a way to break the ice. So, we're having the misfits going against the preppy, rich kids in order to save mountain.
So, I'm looking for movies and/or elements from these sorts of movies that will add to the whole feel.
Movies-wise we've got Hot Dog!, Ski School, Ski School 2, Ski Patrol, and everyone's apparent favorite, Better Off Dead. Any other one's people can think of?
We've also got the aformentioned Preps and Misfits rivarly and the competition on the last day to see who gets kicked off the mountain. Also, the hero from the misfits and the head prep are supposed to fight over one of the girls. We've got one person who is being granted the Rodney Dangerfield power to say "Hey everybody, let's have a party!" and have Journey start kicking and alcohol appear from nowhere. We've got champange drinking in hotubs in bikinis and such. We've got my friend, Mahesh, who incidentally grew up outside of Philly, as our wacky exchange student with an outrageous accent. We've got that you're allowed to go up to people and demand two dollars and flip out if they don't give it to you.
What else can people think of?
