If anyone can guess who I am, I will personally award them with a pat on the back.

I'll give you one hint. I used to post under another name.

Guess away!

Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :

I'm going to assume Patrick, because you think posting under alternate IDs is funny. [Smile]

Posted by Icarus (Member # 3162) on :

No. Not Patrick's style.

I'm guessing Morbo, just because.

Son of a Potato Sack, you make me think that you are Mr. Portairo head's son because Portairo keeps reminding me of spuds...

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

None of you are right...

Think, less smooth and glamarous.

Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :

Are you me? And if so, what the heck are you trying to pull? Get back in here!

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

I don't think I'm you...but maybe that one Science experiment went a lot wronger than I thought...

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

Steve Rogers?

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

I'm not sure who Steve Rogers is. That is close though.

Posted by mr_porteiro_head (Member # 4644) on :

I think you are AntiCool.

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

I just have to guess rhaegar the fool, but SteveRogers without the space is possible too

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

I think lucy might have it.

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

Well if you can guess who I am, i'll finish guessing who you are

[Wave] Hi Steve. Is it Ma or Dad who is the Sack?

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

No, you are already down. You know who I am.

Are you Raia? Mayhaps?

Edit: See, Tante figured it out. You just recognized my style didn't you?

Anywho, neither of my parents are actually potato sacks. Its actually a phrase I came up with during marching band season.

My friend and I were debating which was cooler:

Son of a Potato Sack

or

Son of a Double Wide.

I still think mine was cooler. But that is my story. I'll probably go back to my other name soon. I just wanted to mix things up a little bit. Got tired of being Steve. So I decided I'd be Potato Sack instead.

OK, I admit it. It's me.

Breyerchic?

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

Close to raia, but not the same person

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

Shameless post counts tante, I wanted steve to guess who I was.

Posted by Son_of_a_Potato_Sack (Member # 8889) on :

So you are Breyerchic? Aha, I don't have to guess anymore!

How'd you know it was me, though?

Oh, wait. No I'm not. [Wink]

you're one of the few males on the board who has such an identity issue that you would spend much time wanting people to know who you are, or try to register a name with a certain number and post about it. I wasn't hard to guess because i signed three or four posts today with this sn, using my normal sn in the post, just so everyone would know, I have a landmark written but need to wait until a certain date to post it.

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

I think tante figured it out (but I could be wrong) because you said it was close to my guess, which I knew was right all along, though I have an inside joke going with Rhaegar about what sn he is currently using (i"m currently confident it's henchbabe)

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

Uh, yeah, I didn't figure it out, breyerchic, um, lucy, did. And I figured out lucy, because, as she said, she's been signing her posts "breyerchic04".

So, no credit is due me.

If you want to guess who I really am, you can get a clue by clicking on my profile and then clicking on my homepage!

Posted by GaalDornick (Member # 8880) on :

So do you, like, exist outside of the internet?

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

Hey! I'm a bot!

I do not appreciate this remark. You don't know anything about me, and yet you decide that I am thirsting for attention. Real nice.

Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :

The only thing I do know about you is that you're thirsting for attention.

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

Steve is sweet and playful. Don't be mean to him.

Posted by SteveRogers (Member # 7130) on :

Thank you, Tante.

Tom- You don't know anything about me. You've never met me in real life. Percieving things from the way I act is probably the most....not good thing you can do.

What may seem to you like thirsting for attention is, around here and around people, the way I always act. I don't thirst for attention. In fact, I'd really rather no one pay me and mind.

But people here, at home, find me funny. So, I get attention. I don't want it. Which is why I spend some days not talking at all, just stumbling my way from class to class.

*blink*

You're right. I should in fact try to perceive things based on...
Um.
Based on...
Hm.

The way you ought to act? The way I imagine that you'd act? The way I think you think? The way I think Dennis Miller would act, if he were you? The way I think you might look in MeatSpace?

Seriously, Steve, I think you'll find that almost everyone in the world will wind up forming an opinion of you based on the way you act.

Then why the heck would you create this thread? Creating a thread like this is purposely calling attention to yourself. In fact, I can't think of any other reason to create such a thread.

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

what I said in that post you were offended by is probably one of the nicest things I can say about anyone right now, it's just your personality, that's different from most people on this board.

Posted by Kwea (Member # 2199) on :

Steve, if you don't want attention, why are you posting similar threads like this fairly often?

Seeking attention isn't always a bad thing, but it looked that way to me as well to be honest.

It doesn't mean you are a bad guy, not at all, just a little over eager at times. There ARE worse things, you know.... [Wink]

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

If lucy hummer was me, the nick would probably be capitalized. [Razz]

Yes, I am a nerd. Deal with it.

Steve is a cute puppy.

breyerchic is too.

Heck, so is Raia. Share the love.

KQ how much older than me are you [Wink]

You can't expect anyone to believe you on this. This thread is the definition of attention-whore. I personally don't mind it, but don't try to deny who you are.

I'm guessing that on the days you're quiet you probably spend most your time waiting for someone to comment on how quiet you're being.

These things all scream, "Look at me!"

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

Thanks KQ. I think you're a pretty adorable one yourself. [Wink]

IIRC, 2 years. And I may be younger than Raia, or the same age, not sure how old exactly she is. But I'm married and have a child and another on the way. [Wink] Kinda puts me in a different peer group.

Posted by Anna (Member # 2582) on :

Raia is around 19, isn't she?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Well, then I'm 3 years older than her. [Smile]

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

Yeah I'll be 20 in January, and Raia won't be till August, but we were the same grade in school. And Fugu is 3 years older than me but in my "peer group" but not married and doesn't have a child.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Exactly. My peer group tends to be married people with children or much older singles, just because... being married and having kids makes you old. [Wink]

Posted by El JT de Spang (Member # 7742) on :

I think that was the case with you even before marriage and kids.

If I had to guess.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Actually, yes.

At the age of 9, I much prefered either much younger children I could "tend" or adults (as long as they talked to me like human beings) to people my age, other than my close friends.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

(But marriage and children definitely widens the gap.

Or at least legitimizes it.)

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

In some ways, KQ, you seem much older. In other ways, you are very much your age.

I hope that doesn't make you upset. For example, this conversation. Being proud of being thought of as older isn't typical by the mid-twenties. It isn't that it's a bad thing - people just don't care as much anymore. It's not a bad thing to care, but it is something that's appropriate to your chronological age.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

I'm not "proud" of it-- it's just the way it is. I don't have a lot in common with most people my age, who are in college or working, and have time to play and such a lot more than I do. [Smile]

But I don't mind being age-appropriate, either. And sometimes even acting like a 16-year-old is fun. [Big Grin]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

(Know who I really get along with? Older people-- like, much older people. 70's and 80's. I've always enjoyed their company. [Smile] )

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

I know it's a bit late, but yes, I am nineteen. [Smile]
