Forget the "I want to be a lady" thread, just look at her and you'll see the embodiment of a lady. And a wonderful kind person.
With a child in the hospital and all sorts of things going on in her life she spent time and money to send me a gift. A very thoughtful gift.
I cried. But it was a good cry.
I could have put this on my cancer story thread but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it because I was so overwhelmed and touched.
In addition, it seems like every day I get cards or emails or phone calls from hatrackers encouraging me, or making me laugh, or just letting me know you're thinking of me. I've tried to name you all and thank you in my thread, if I missed someone it's not because I didn't appreciate what you've done.
That's just....amazing. I have no other word for it. This is the most wonderful community. I think we all need to stop every now and then and appreciate what a cool thing we have here.
