I should be glad that the Angels made it to the ALCS, but their performance made it look like they didn't belong there. Living here in the Chicago burbs makes it even worse because there is no one here to cry with.

[Frown] [Cry]

Here's to next year.

I'm about in the 'burbs. A couple blocks north, and it's Evanston.

I'm hoping against hope that Houston beats St. Louis, because if I'm faced with having to root for either the White Sox or the Cardinals, I'm going to be very unhappy.

I don't know who to root for now. I don't like the Sox, and the Cubs have become my #2 team. I like the Cards because they have two of my favorite former Angels.

At least we beat the Yankees!!

I'm not going to have anyone to root for in the Series this year. Not happy about that.

I am sorry to say that I don't think I will be shedding any tears for the Angels (even though I live in LA now). I will always be a Rangers fan even through their bad years.

I don't really care who wins either way, but I have always been intrigued by the White Sox and the history of the Black Sox scandel. Did Shoeless Joe really throw the series? Quite interesting....

Hmm.... I suspect that a lot of people in Chicago would be crying with you after the Angels lost. Particularly people in the north side.
