I'm still looking for concrete sources about Japanese Jewish policies, i've found (and lost) a few sites about how the Japanese government ordered Jews to be considered as any other foreign national and while not bending hand over feet to save them nevertheless considered important to their own war effort to accept Jews into Japan and Shanghai.

Anyone have any info?

That doesn't necessarily bode well, WWII Japan treating anyone like any other foreign national.

*confused* What are you looking for, Blayne?

Information on the Jews who survived the war in Japan? The Mir Yeshiva was among the larger of the groups sheltered in Shanghai, but far from the only one. There are several books on the Mir Yeshiva's war years.
